. Once we've designed and built your system, it makes sense to have MECO be responsible for the validation. After all, our complete understanding of your project helps ensure it will be done right the first time and in less time than a third party. IQ & OQ protocols and their execution for only a portion of a project are all too common in the industry. Ideally, MECO begins the validation process at the start of your project with the understanding or development of the user requirements. We will carry this through to the operational qualification at our factory or at your site.
Now it makes more sense than ever to rely on MECO for validation.
As a systems provider, MECO is qualified to prepare and execute qualification protocols for pharmaceutical systems. Our in-depth knowledge of these systems, along with our knowledge of industry standards, practices and regulatory requirements, allows MECO to offer a complete and accurate validation package.
Because you may have internal formatting requirements and procedures for writing qualification documents, our protocols can be tailored to meet your preferences and pre-existing formats.
Installation Qualification (IQ) involves field verification that the equipment has been installed properly and in accordance with design specifications and manufacturer's recommendations. IQs also verify the receipt of completed documentation, the existence of equipment Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and preventive maintenance programs. The IQ protocol documents the installation verification of all components of the equipment and its control system. The MECO IQ protocols include, but are not limited to, the following verifications:
Operational Qualification (OQ) involves field verification that the equipment is capable of operating in accordance with design specifications and the client's requirements. MECO's OQs verify equipment capability, operating ranges and all operation modes of the equipment (PLC verification). The OQ protocol documents data recording of system parameters, control system tests, sequence of operation tests, operational safety alarm tests, and 21CFR Part 11 assessment. The MECO OQ protocols include, but are not limited to, the following verifications:
