MECO and Water Works Transition to Grundfos
Building on a Legacy of Water Treatment Excellence
For nearly 100 years, MECO has helped customers solve critical water challenges through innovative purification technologies, engineering expertise, and responsive service on a global-scale. For decades, Water Works has delivered high-purity water solutions trusted by laboratories, healthcare facilities, life sciences organizations, and industrial customers across North America.
Today, we are pleased to announce the next step in that journey.
As part of the continued integration of Grundfos’ water treatment businesses, MECO and Water Works are transitioning to the Grundfos Water Treatment Americas platform. This evolution brings together the expertise of MECO, Water Works, Newterra, and Grundfos under a unified organization, creating a stronger platform to support customers across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, microelectronics, laboratory, industrial, and infrastructure markets.
One Platform. Expanded Capabilities.
By bringing these organizations together, Grundfos creates a more integrated water treatment business with expanded technologies, engineering resources, manufacturing capabilities, and service expertise. Customers will benefit from a broader portfolio of water treatment solutions spanning the entire water lifecycle, including:
- Source water and pretreatment systems
- Reverse osmosis, EDI, and ultrapure water systems
- Purified Water (PW) systems
- Water for Injection (WFI) generation
- Pure steam systems
- Storage and distribution systems
- DI services and water treatment support
- Lifecycle services, maintenance, and validation support
This integrated approach allows customers to access a wider range of technologies and expertise through a single water treatment partner.
What This Means for Customers
As MECO and Water works transition to the Grundfos brand, customers will begin seeing the Grundfos name and applicable d/b/a names across our communications, marketing materials, and business documents. The transition to Grundfos strengthens our ability to support customers operating in critical and regulated environments through expanded engineering expertise, manufacturing capabilities, service resources, and water treatment technologies. Customers will gain access to the combined strengths of MECO, Water Works, Newterra, and Grundfos while continuing to work with the teams and experts they know and trust.
Over the coming months, customers may begin seeing the Grundfos name appear on quotations, proposals, invoices, websites, marketing materials, email communications, and other business documents as the transition progresses.
What Is Not Changing
While our name is evolving, our commitment to customers remains the same. Existing customer relationships, ongoing projects, day-to-day contacts, quality standards, technical expertise, service responsiveness, and support resources will continue uninterrupted. For customers operating in regulated industries, this transition does not impact product quality, quality management systems, validation support, supplier qualifications, documentation, or regulatory compliance support. The same teams, facilities, technologies, and dedication to customer success remain at the center of everything we do.
Looking Ahead
The transition to Grundfos reflects our continued commitment to delivering industry-leading water treatment solutions backed by the resources and global expertise of Grundfos.
By combining the strengths of MECO, Water Works, Newterra, and Grundfos, we are creating a stronger organization positioned to help customers meet increasingly complex water treatment challenges today and in the future.
