Industries We Serve

Water Works supplies innovative water solutions to some of California’s most demanding environments. Our team understands the pace and precision these sectors need, and we bring that understanding to our work in the following industries:

  • Biopharmaceutical
  • Research and development
  • Diagnostics and clinical laboratories
  • Medical device manufacturing
  • Academic and research institutions

Regional Manufacturing and Technical Expertise

Water Works houses a skilled team of engineers, technicians, and support staff with in-depth knowledge of high-purity water systems. The San Diego facility manufactures, assembles, and services process water equipment. From lab-scale systems to full-scale skids, we do it all.

Our certified PVDF pipe welding and assembly operations meet stringent clean room protocols. We are George Fischer-certified for high-purity piping installations. Local fabrication capabilities include reverse osmosis, deionized (DI), and pretreatment systems. Other services include pre-shipment inspections and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) support. Water Works ensures faster delivery and smoother project execution throughout California.

High-Purity Services for Regulated Industries

Water Works offers DI tank exchange in California for Clinical Laboratory Reagent Water (CLRW) applications. This service supplies ultrapure deionized (DI) water. It eliminates on-site chemical handling or regeneration, encouraging uninterrupted lab workflows. We perform regeneration on-site under ISO 9001 and cGMP protocols. Our DI tank exchange Pickup and delivery routes cover San Diego, Los Angeles, and the surrounding regions.

Additional offerings at our California facility include:

  • Technical services and consultations
  • Installation qualification (IQ) and operational qualification (OQ) support
  • Predictive maintenance and 24/7 emergency response
  • On-site water quality audits and remote diagnostics
  • Ongoing technical support and documentation

All services align with USP, ASTM, CLSI, and AAMI standards. Our traceable service records and cGMP-aligned documentation help meet regulatory expectations.

Solutions That Support Science and Innovation

California’s scientific and manufacturing communities depend on uninterrupted access to high-quality water. Water Works addresses this need with purpose-built systems. These solutions combine performance, compliance, and sustainability:

  • Reverse osmosis: Our reverse osmosis (RO) systems come ready to operate. Customization allows precise tailoring to suit specific applications. Ideal industries for our RO water purification units include biopharmaceuticals and desalination.
  • Vapor compression: We manufacture reliable, efficient vapor compression (VC) systems in California. Patented GII Centurbo™ Compressor technology reduces maintenance needs.
  • Water for Injection: When facilities need the purest water, they rely on our Water for Injection (WFI) solutions. We engineer membrane-based and multiple effect distillation WFI systems.
  • Ultrapure Water: MASTERpak™ MICRO offers numerous loops and flow rates. It reduces costs through optimized energy and water consumption. Choose this option for Ultrapure Water in biopharmaceutical or industrial applications.
