720,000 GPD of Drinking Water Produced for Industrial Plant in Ras Laffan, Qatar
MECO supplied two vapor compression desalination plants to a large Japanese engineering company that specialized in industrial facilities, particularly oil refineries and LNG facilities. The three units were installed at a LNG facility accommodation camp in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The three plants produced 720,000 gallons of fresh drinking water per day for more than 6,000 people who developed the site. MECO has been supplying fresh water to industrial plants for over 45 years.
