In The Spirit of the Season

In keeping with the firms goals related to social responsibility, MECO has supported the following charitable organizations this holiday season:

  • One Fund Boston Inc.
  • Save the Children – Typhoon Haiyan Children’s Relief Fund
  • American Red Cross – Midwest Tornadoes 2013
  • The Salvation Army – November Tornadoes

The One Fund Boston was formed to assist victims and families affected by the tragic events at the Boston Marathon and in the days that followed. Save the Children – Typhoon Haiyan Children’s Relief Fund is working to help children and families with emergency assistance after Typhoon Haiyan. The relief experts are on the scene getting needed relief supplies into the hard hit communities and providing services that children and their families will need to recover from the tragedy. American Red Cross – Midwest Tornadoes 2013 and The Salvation Army – November Tornadoes provided disaster relief to people in the Midwest impacted by the devastating tornadoes. The services included shelter, food, relief supplies, health and mental health services in the affected areas.
