MECO Supports Relief Efforts

In keeping with the firms goals related to social responsibility, MECO has supported the following charitable organizations this holiday season with a $20,000 donation distributed to:

  • Sandy Hook Elementary School Support Fund
  • United Way of Western Connecticut
  • Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund
  • The Empire State Relief Fund

The Sandy Hook Elementary School Support Fund was created by the United Way of Western Connecticut as a means of providing support to the Newtown / Sandy Hook Community.  The Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund and the Empire State Relief Fund were created to provide resources to help victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Considering our own experience with Hurricane Katrina more than seven years ago, we understand the needs of those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and community of Newtown and the Sandy Hook Elementary School.
