2nd Shift ASSEMBLY FOREMAN

 

 

MECO on the Northshore is seeking an experienced ASSEMBLY FOREMAN to assume responsibility for the 2nd shift Assembly Department.  This individual will be responsible for hiring, evaluation and training of all new 2nd shift production employees.  He/she will supervise all assembly, Electrical, Test, Painting and Boxing personnel.  The Foreman is responsible for ensuring all assigned work orders are completed on-time and budget and meet MECO’s Quality Standards.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
    • Some college preferred
  • 5+ years of production / manufacturing experience
  • 4+ years supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read drawings and schematics

 

This is a full-time, exempt Staff position with the standard MECO benefit package.  The 2nd Shift Foreman will be expected to work from (enter time)    until the last 2nd Shift employee has left for the day.  This individual may also be required to supervise on the occasional weekend during the day.
